
Mi Historia
This 13 panel exhibit provides a personal glimpse into the varied and important stories of Western North Carolina’s Latino immigrant population. Redesigned in 2014 by Sarah Nuñez, Maria Lomeli Garcia, Sandra Garcia, and Victor Palomino for the Center for Diversity Education this project takes you on a visual journey into the lives of Latinos across the area.

CHIVA Project
From 2012-2014, Sarah assisted with the CHIVA, TOP project as the program manager and co-owner. This social enterprise delivered art, activism, and dialogues to neighborhoods, schools, and community events in Western North Carolina.
